The Cosy cinema was in the block next to the Seven Stars, the white building pictured at right. Arthur Kimber's newsagent's can be seen on the corner, and the Cosy was above the shops on the first floor. The Co-op buildings are seen further up Market Lane and are all that remain on that side of the road after the Cosy block and the Seven Stars were demolished in 1970.
