Swalwell Buildings
Swalwell roundabout (pictured here before the actual roundabout was put in), is at the crossroads of the Gateshead - Blaydon-Hexham road and the Scotswood Bridge - Rowlands Gill - Shotley Bridge road. The seat is just to the left of the figure on the right side of the picture, and also note the tall chimney of Axwell Colliery in the distance.
